Leonor Brito, Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s managing associate from the Real Estate & Environment area of practice talked to Jornal de Negócios newspaper about the proposal for amendments to the Urban Lease Law and its future effects. According to VdA's lawyer "the State only may prevent a wave of evictions from happening in five years time, either by attributing a subsidy or a house" writes the newspaper in its 13 February edition.
